When talking about food, what comes to our mind is probably everything edible including sweets, candies, etc. When we really look at the definition of food, according to the Google’s dictionary, “food” is:
“Any nutritious substance that people or animals eat or drink, or that plants absorb, in order to maintain life and growth.”
So now let’s think about what is sold at grocery store or served at restaurants again. Are those really considered “foods”, according to the definition? Do those contain any nutrition at all? And if not, why are we still consuming them on a daily basis? Why are we eating all the stuff that make us feel weaker and weaker? Is it because of the cravings? Is it because we are too busy to pay attention to the importance of our diet or macro nutrients?
I’m not a doctor, nor a nutritionist. All I know is I want to be healthy, I want to feel great, I want to feel fabulous! I went through many phases of being sick after eating and a number of consultations, diagnoses, analyses, tests, and none of which helped me cope with my food problems and. It was time I needed to do something about it. I couldn’t live my life like that anymore. I want to not feel bloated all the time. I want to feel just ‘normal.’
